Well, usually different wrapper means that the content of the burger is different.
However, that entire scene looked to me as it was an exchange of information and stances, while at the same time, a symbol of friendship, or maybe intention of 'not wanting to be your enemy'.
Beatrix did the same with Iris but she didn't accept it. It gave the impression that Iris putted herself on a lower position, or maybe, she kept a distance from Beatrix.
Call me paranoid, but it looked to me that Beatrix looked disappointed at Iris' actions.

Yes first episode explained that. She looks powerful but she stated she learned the most when fighting with Cid. That she only looks scary while Cid is secretly more powerful. He just enjoys looking weak.

No she thinks cid is weaker than her. She only knows that their spars are weirdly edjucational and cid has never won once. I think she did tell him to train 'cause he's weak and conciders him someone weak to protect.

The only ones that know Cid is strong are Shadow Garden members.
Also he does not enjoy looking weak itself. He enjoyes his Cid persona looking like a 'mob' (which is weak compared to his talented sister) and his Shadow persona looking mysterious and displaying all of his skills and power should the need arise. Basically he enjoyes anything that fits his Eminece in the shadows act.

It's 'cause your statement is worded unclearly so I wasn't sure you got it right. In the context it can be read as her saying the last 2 statements as well.
Also there are people that do forget things like this or remember it wrong. Or people that fail to understand a character's nature properly. As you said most, but not all would likely understand.

I stated that Cid has a really easy to identify personality and the characters tend to state their intentions to make it even easier like his response when the girls first left that he stated they must have been tired of playing pretend with him so long and most people tend to move on from it. Pretty much Chunis in anime. Pretending to be some ultimate dark being with magic and wear a lot of black and spout delusions. Just the common anime interpretations of them.

No my wording was correct. Maybe read it better. He indeed likes pretending to be weak and hides his strength as Cid and that clashing blades statement which his sister stated. She's an extreme-brocon, it was seen in the 2nd ep when she almost went crazy when the villain insulted Cid (when she was kidnapped). It could also been seen when she wanted to fight against everyone when Cid was captured by the knights.
But it's also right to say that she's a sadist. Being sadist doesn't mean that she doesn't like him. It's her way to show her 'love' and 'care'.
In the end, she's asking him to go to that place and watch to matches to improve himself, to obtain some ambition, to better himself.

This is a theory of mine, but Beatrix might be Alpha and Cid figured it out. So they are doing that edgy anime trope of two people pretending to not know each other and stuff.

Nah Alpha is the sister she's looking for. Remember Alpha and co. where 'blobs of meat' he picked up (from bandits I think) and fixed to be 'human' again. So it fits with the lost sister story.

To begin Alpha wouldn't make contact unless she had some intel to share.
